No player in baseball is worth that money. You can pay a QB or elite player in the NBA that money. Those are the only ones worth it. They win championships. Individual players in baseball are only a small part of the puzzle no matter how good. But.....money isn't an issue in baseball so.....
so true. i would think that they would have learned from all of their past signing boners and the pujols/hamilton deals that moreno failed with. your statement about money not being an issue for some teams rings very true. i still believe that the cardinals are the best managed small market team and their business model never allows them to get in over their heads. boone is getting his xmas present but i am waiting to see what the yanks will have to give up and pray for stanton's good health.
These salaries for all of these players in baseball is out of hand,the smaller tier teams have no chance to compete with the rich teams.Its in all sports,but i think the top 2 are baseball and basketball,but i may be wrong as i don't pay attention to the NBA..the way its going it will be no fun to watch baseball anymore
